Our Tree is Ready to Receive Gifts.

Hi everyone! I hope you have signed up for my giveaway! You can sign up here.

I am linking this post for the 1st time to

and to

Please visit these lovely blogs I recently found! :)

I’d love to show you our Christmas tree. These are years and years of collecting ornaments. IMG_5003

I made a huge bow for the top. I got some picks and inserted them in between the bow. I wanted the top to look like the focal point of the tree. IMG_4949

I also want to share a picture without the flash. Doesn’t it convey such a warm feeling? :)IMG_4948

I inserted some picks that have some coin looking pretties and some gold and glittery berries. I also added some ornament picks to make it look fuller. IMG_5007

Here are a couple of the pinecones I spray painted in gold. All I did was place them in between the branches. Easy as pie. :)IMG_4953 IMG_4957

Let’s take a closer look at some of the ornaments. These are some of my favorite ornaments. They are either pictures of my boys or ornaments that they have made. IMG_4959 IMG_4971

This ornament you see here was made by my two oldest boys. The heart ornament was made by Lady Dy over at Roses Cakes & Pearls. I love it!IMG_5020

I bought these when my twins were babies. IMG_4969

I’ve always decorated our tree in red and gold and little bit of white. Of course not everything is red, gold, or just white. :) For instance this ornament. I love these. They are pink and romantic looking. IMG_4990

Mr Santa is all decked out for Christmas. IMG_4960

I have quite a few of these. They are a good size that fill my tree nicely. Try to use big ornaments on your tree. They take up more space. IMG_4984 IMG_4985

Here is another view from my tree. I have gold angels through out. They are a good size. :) These egg ornaments are another of my favorite. One of my twins told me that the tree is not finished until I put the final touch to it. The fake snow. :) Year after year, I add snow to our tree and we all enjoy the look it gives. IMG_5025

Thank you for stopping by my blog and I hope you enjoyed my photos of our Christmas Tree. :) Have a wonderful time decorating for the holidays.

Blessings,

Sandra

Sandra ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL :)! You, Anna from A Petite Cottage and I decorate the same and with the same colors :) I showed my husband your blogs pictures and he said...Are those the pictures from the year before last? He thought yours and Ana's were our trees :) Last year I did our tree with our same treasured ornaments but the main colors in the picks were antique golds, browns, cream and bronzes...I am doing that again this year...but I think I will also do smaller tree in our usual scaret and gold, creams and greens :) I miss that too. Love that you share your pictures..thank you :) Besos, Rose

Good Morning Sweetie...
Oh my gosh, your tree is absolutely fabulous. I just love it. What a great job you have done. I love the focal point at the top. I try to do the same. It is so beautiful. I love the way you have draped snow on your branches, or did it come on your tree? It looks so festive that way.

Thanks for sharing sweetie. Will you make sure my name gets added to the give away? I have not seen a couple of my comments either.

Many thanks sweetie...Sherry

Beautiful! So many pretty ornaments. I collected some pinecones to use this year and they are still in the trunk of my car.

I didn't see an email address so here I am. Love your bows. I'm at a loss how to make them. Can you do a tutorial post on how to make them, please? I have the most beautiful ribbon, dollar store :) and want to make a topper for my tree. Thanks!

What a pretty and full tree, so replete with special ornaments that have such meaning for you and your family. Adding the picks to the top bow was the icing on the cake. You must have to shake all that snow off the boughs every year before you stow away the tree!
