Fall Garland 2012.
Hello everyone! I have been MIA from blogland for quite a while! It is so hard to get back when you’ve been gone for a while. I have missed visiting my favorite blogs! I hope to reconnect with my bloggy friends again.
I want to share my fall garland with you all. :)
Here is another view. They say things are bigger in Texas. I think so. haha!
The owls, pumpkins, and “Happy Fall” sign were done by me. I designed these, hubby cut them, I painted and decorated them. I used MDF material. Easy to make. They are about 16 inches in size. They are a good size and can be seen from afar. :)
Isn’t this one precious?
Another owl. I really like owls. :D So cute if I do say so myself.
Another precious owl. The scarecrow is from GardenRidge. Love that place! These pumpkins are from my favorite place, Hobby Lobby.
These pumpkins were made by me. :)
Love the design I chose for this one. :)
And that’s it for now. I hope you enjoyed my fall garland. I hope to post more often. Thank you all that didn’t give up on me. I sincerely appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.

My Fall Garland and The Color of Red! :)
Hello y’all! (I really say “y’all in real life:D) My goodness, I don’t think we will have fall weather in my parts of the world. LOL! It was already sixty degrees early this morning.
Today I am linking with Susan with Outdoor Wednesday, and Sue with Rednesday. Please visit these two wonderful blogs.
So yesterday I mentioned that I was going to share my garland I have out in my front porch. I think sunflowers look right at home with the fall colors, don’t you think?
First, I hung grapevine and then whatever decorations I use for each season. I change out the decorations for each season.
Marla, can you see the subtle changes? ;)
Here is another view. I painted the little chair and the pot. The chair is Posh Red (like the door) from Valspar. The pot is painted in Spanish Tile by Valspar.
This also got a makeover. I gave it just one coat because I wanted some of the previous color to show thru.
I love how the yellow of the mums looks with the red! I can’t wait for these little flowers to really bloom. :)
And that’s about it. Y’all have a wonderful day, ok? :) Thank you for visiting My Bella Rose.

Fall Party at Rhoda’s!
All I did was add the fall picks to this arrangement. I already had the red and cream color flowers in this vase.:)
Some of you have seen this photo. I hope you don’t mind me sharing it again. This is my dining table.
I added fall picks to this wreath as well.
and last but not least, my mantle. I added some rich shades of reds here. The letter “M” was painted my moi. I used some paint that I had already called Spanish Tile by Valspar. I also applied Rub & Buff to it. Can you tell I that I love the color red? ha ha!
And this vase is sitting on the fireplace. More of the vibrant fall colors.
Again, thank you so much, Rhoda! Now let’s go see what everyone else is sharing with us!

Met Monday
Hi everyone. I hope your Monday is going great. This is my first time participating with Met Monday! I’m excited! Please visit the lovely Susan at "Between Naps On the Porch"
During one of our trips to Houston when my oldest son was interviewing at the different medical schools this past summer, we stopped at a Garden Ridge. I immediately saw this set! It was in black and I had been looking for a white set. We bought them anyway and decided we would paint them white. This is such a beautiful set with the roses and all!
This is a before picture.
Here is a close up of the chair. Look at the detail!!
This past Sunday hubby decided to finally paint them! woohoo!!!!! Here they are getting their first coat of white paint.
This is what hubby used to paint the table and chairs. It is very fast and easy to use. Here is the link to this particular paint gun. It wasn’t expensive at all. $59.99. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=90977
And here is the set in it’s beautiful white color!!
Now I have a place to have either tea or coffee! One for you and one for me! :)
The bench got a makeover too. It used to be black. I love it in white! I need to make pillows and cushion for it. :)
My fallish decor got moved to the other end of my porch. :)
Make sure to visit Susan at http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/
Have a wonderful day. :)

Aren’t they cute? They are holding hands. Happy Thursday! Stop by my blog tomorrow cause I will be posting my 100th post giveaways! I am getting close to 100 posts! Yippee!

My Fall Topiary
Hello my fellow blogger friends! After visiting Amy @ http://keepnthesunnyside.blogspot.com/2009/09/im-such-copy-cat.html and saw the topiary she made, I knew I had to make one for me too. I don’t think mine is as pretty as hers but it sure was fun.
I started with this pot I found at Hobby Lobby on clearance. It was a burgundy color so I spray painted it with oil rubbed bronze color.
I used my hot glue gun to attach the pumpkins and that was it. I also used the glue to attach the leaves and mums. I made the bow myself and glued the back of the center to the pumpkin. I may have to run to Michaels and buy some rub on letters like Amy put on her topiary. Love it!
She will be placed outside as soon as I finish redecorating my garland out there.
This is a very easy project and I really enjoyed making it. :) I hope everyone has a lovely and blessed weekend.
Blessings,
Sandra

I’m Transitioning Into Fall!
At least inside my home. :) Hello friends. How is everyone doing? Well I’m really looking forward to fall…cooler weather, love it! It’s still a ways from getting cooler here in Texas but I sure am looking forward to it!
Question: Do the candles look awkward on the end? Should I put them before the pears or should I just take them off?
Hmm? After seeing these photos, I think I’m going to paint the picture frame. You see the picture above the mantel? I think a bronze or like the color surrounding the picture itself, kwim? It is more of an espresso color. What do you think?
I finally distressed these and I love how they look now!
Fall will be here before you know it! What kind of weather do you have in the fall? Our weather turns into a tad cooler nights and mornings and sunshine during the day. We do have more warm days than cool days though.
My entrance hallway is not completely decked out for the fall yet. What a change these fall colors make though!
I took some of the flowers off from a fall spray and just put them inside my apothecary jar. Love it!
These are two sprays and I placed them next to the apothecary jar. My fall sprays and the rest of the fall decor came from Hobby Lobby. I don’t remember seeing these sprays last year there? So pretty! I love the colors!
I need to head into the garage and look for all of my fall decors! Wish me luck, y’all! I might get lost in all of my hubby’s things!
Happy Thursday!
Sandra
