There is a Mantel Party!

Hello! Welcome to the 2nd mantel party hosted by http://bethcrabtreehunter.blogspot.com/. I just found this lovely blog and decided to join the party. I hope I’m not late.

The finials used to be a gold color when I bought them last year. I decided to paint them a soft white and then yesterday I applied some Rub N Buff. Those are just a few books I like to read. I purchased the little bird on top last summer.

I am not please with the pink magnolias so those will come out. IMG_0061 (800x662) (800x662)

I just bought these two jars at H.L. yesterday. They were a solid black and so I decided to apply a product called Rub N Buff. It made a huge difference! IMG_0068 (800x793)

Please visit http://bethcrabtreehunter.blogspot.com/ to see the other participant’s mantels.

I hope you all taking time to relax by the fireplace. :)

Blessings,

Sandra

Isn't Rub & Buff the best? It adds so much character to everything. Thanks so much for joining the party and you are right on time :).

I'm curious to see what you replace the magnolias with. Your mantel looks fresh and springy.

Love your finial pieces! They look great white. I just bought a gold crown that I'm looking to paint white and add some glaze to. How funny, I just saw those same bottle/vase thingy's at Kristen's Creations blog yesterday and she used Rub N Buff on hers, too!
