June Issue of Better Homes and Gardens

Untitled

First, I’d like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for including Joseph and Nancy in your prayers.  Joseph is doing good.  He started chemo week before last and was able to go home.  He will have chemo for five days and then get to be home for three weeks.  Nancy sees a surgeon on the May 18th.  Please continue praying for both.

I am really enjoying this issue!  Did you know that June is the month of roses? Yep, it says so right here:)

I must start buying David Austin roses.  These are gorgeous!  (please excuse the glare)

I want a garden like this.  Spectacular!

Look at those climbing roses!  They are beautiful!  Aaah, Everything in this issue is just beautiful!

I’m planning on reading this issue from cover to cover.

We finished painting the kitchen and dining room in Svelte Sage..  I can’t wait to share with y’all!  I still have to put everything back in place in the dining room.  You should see my living room.  It looks like I’m getting ready for a garage sale but everything that belongs in the dining room is in the living room.  The red and white toile you see are the curtains!  ha ha.

Have a wonderful Monday.

Blessings,

Sandra

I will include them both in my prayers. I still have not done any more to the bedroom. Getting ready to leave for an appt. shortly.
Enjoy your week.

Glad for the report on your loved ones, Sandra.

I can't wait to see your DR painted. I had looked at Svelte Sage to go with a drapery I already have, but I think it might not quite work. I love it, though, and really wanted to use it. Looking foward to seeing yours.

XO,

Sheila :-)

Like you, I drooled over these gardens! You will love the David Austin roses. It seems like everytime I see a rose I really love, it is a David Austin. Beautiful, old fashioned and smelling wonderful. Did you know the scent of one of the lotions at Crabtree & Evelyn was based on a David Austin rose??

Sandra, it's so funny that we have so much in common in our tastes, me also having Tobacco Road and Svelte Sage as the main wall colors in my home. :) Great minds, huh??? They are both such great neutrals.

That rose garden is stunningly beautiful. I'll have to pick up that issue.

I haven't had time to read this issue yet but I soon will.

I am praying for Joseph.

Thru God all things are possible.

Thank you for your kind comments on my blog. I am truly blessed because of it.
