Oh The Joy of Getting Older…..

I’ve been having problems with my eyesight and decided to go to an optometrist.  Boy was I shocked when he told me “People your age start to have problems with their eyes”  What do you mean “People my age?”  Why, I’m only in my twenties!  How can you say “people my age?” LOL  Ok, maybe I’m not really twenty years old or even in my twenties but I sure feel like it.  ha!

You can’t tell but they are bifocals. *blush* I’ve been wearing them for a while and I’m still having problems. I can’t see clearly!  They may have to tweak them or something.

You look great Sandra! You sure reminded me I need to get to the eye doctor ASAP. My eyesight has changed recently too. I hope everything else has been going well for you.

Blessings & Happy Fall!

Be thankful that you have a choice to help correct your eye sight.

Your glasses are adorable! I can't see a hill of beans - it's contacts for me or I'd never get to leave my house....even before I was My Age :)

I got mine at 46. I was lucky, after the first couple of days I didn't have any trouble with them. I do remember trying to walk down steps the first day and I almost fell. You do learn how to move your eyes and not your entire head and that helps!

Thanks for stopping by to visit Sandra! I can really relate to the eyesight thing and the bifocal thing too! It takes some time to get used to them... Most the time I still look over the top of my glasses to see up close!

Hugs, Sherri:)

Oh my, glasses seem to be a necessity for so many of us. I wear readers, but I think that is about to change. It's beginning to get harder and harder to see off in the distance. Yours look fabulous. Hopefully they will adjust them so you are comfortable and happy. Hugs, Marty

You must be in your 40's. I say that as that's when my eye sight got worse. Didn't need glasses until now. Still very blessed to have what I do have, which is a lot.

Your glasses are very cute! Aren't you glad that they make such fun lenses anymore.

They look stunning on you! I hope you get adjusted to them, it's always a great thing to see, I can't live without my glasses or contacts!

Enjoy your day~

I understand where you are coming from. I had to go to the eye guy this week too. I was told the same thing, but mine is true. At my age, you just accept it, wear the glasses and deal with it.
