Prayers For Nine Eleven….

Animation111

9/11/01.

Memories of finding out that our great country had just been attacked.  As a mother, all I wanted to do was get in my vehicle and pick up my boys from school to protect them just like a mother will.  I also had my baby twin boys at home.  They were just a yr old.  I called my boys’ schools and was reassured that they were safe.  All of the parent’s calls were being directed to the principal of each school.

My flag is flying outside my home to honor those who lost their lives on 9/11, their families, friends and loved ones who continue to endure the pain, and those who today are fighting at home and abroad to preserve our cherished freedoms.

I think it’s a day no American will ever forget.

In memory of 9/11/01.

Never to forget. We have an in-law in the buildings that collapsed, her tales of horror are deafening. Another in-law was in the air, his plane was landed within seconds in the middle of the USA. We had a friend that was sitting at a desk where the Pentagon was hit directly, who was severely burned & seen on TV running out of that hole ... God bless them all. Have a lovely weekend. Oh Sandra, I have such a heavy heart today. Not only because of 9/11 but for so many who are sick and hurting. My prayer list is so long, listing the sick, dying, hopeless, fearful people in my life...
My flag is flying also..sad..very sad....

I felt the same as you, that day. My children were all at school and I remember the desperate need to have them close to me. One daughter was suppose to travel with her volleyball team to play in another town. I called and said "no way, she needs to be home". Of course everything was canceled anyway. People just wanted to be together. My heart still aches for our country and all the dear people who were murdered.
God Bless,Cindy
