First of all, I’d like to thank all of you that responded to my private mama moment post. I really appreciate all the kind words you all left for me. Thank you, thank you! :)
We made a trip to Houston to get our son ready for med school. He signed his lease for housing too. I’m soooo glad he will be able to stay at the housing for med students! It is secured with a guard at the front of the entrance so not just anyone can go in. I feel much more content! Whew! We bought a bed and some of the necessities he’ll need. Oh! Have any of you all gone to Garden Ridge? A store? They have just about everything there! LOL We don’t have that store in my area so I had tons of fun in there. hee hee!
I could not believe how many crepe myrtles there are in that area! Tons and tons everywhere!!! I took many pictures. I’m soooo glad to be home though. I just wanted to say hi to my fellow bloggers and I missed everyone. I missed reading everyone’s posts. Oh gosh, time to do laundry and get my house back in order. I am looking forward to catching up on what everyone has been up to. :)

Thanks a bunch!
Oh wow, I'm excited about your son going to Med School in Houston*! Hopefully I won't be having to go to Houston anytime soon, but when/if I do, MD Anderson is the best place to be for cancer treatments*! Thank you so much for stopping by and for your sweet comments and prayers*! (((hugs)))

Best of successes to your son, congrats on his future. Blessings to you, Mother, it is always so hard to let go ... I said it before, I hate the empty nest syndrome. TTFN ~Marydon
Hello, Sandra! Thanks for visiting my blog today :) You asked about my bedding - I have a quilt on top, and then I have a regular old white bedskirt on the bottom with some battenburg lace valances tucked in over the bedskirt all the way around. If I weren't so cheap, I'd just buy me a nice battenburg bedskirt :) But it works for now. Congratulations to your son as he goes to med school!
Sandra,
Welcome back, sounds like your son is well taken care of. I like Crepe Myrtles especially when they are in flower, some colours are plain awesome.
How wonderful Sandra!
I know you are so very proud of your son. That is truly great and amazing. Many prayers for success coming his way from Blogland.
Thanks for coming by today.
I always enjoy your kind visits.
~Warmly, Melissa :)
