I Take Comfort in These Words….

Edited to add and explain a little bit.
A totally stranger decided to talk about me and my love for the LORD in his blog. He talked about my husband as well. He had nothing better to do but to get on my blog and then go put me down on his blog. I had never seen this blog before. Sorry, but it's not the type of blog I'd follow. I was shocked. A total stranger who has nothing better to do but put other people down.

Matthew Chapter 5 Verse 10 - 12

10 Blessed are they that suffer persecution for justice' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11 Blessed are ye when they shall revile you, and persecute you, and speak all that is evil against you, untruly, for my sake: 12 Be glad and rejoice for your reward is very great in heaven. For so they persecuted the prophets that were before you.

Why do I take comfort in these words? There are some people who will persecute me (us) because of our belief in God…..because we are Christians. It’s ok. I have my reward in heaven. You (you know who you are) go right ahead and keep making fun.

I am a bit upset that some people can be so low as to put others down. To down right disrespect others. Low self esteem maybe? I have no idea. I will have to remind myself that just because I wouldn’t think of doing that, does not mean that everyone else is like that.

To all of my blogger friends. Forgive me for not going into details :( but I just had to get this out.

Have a wonderful Sunday.

Sandra

Dear Sandra ~ Yes, we will be persecuted, and it hurts. We just have to take each day as it comes, trusting in Him for strength and guidance as we go about our daily life.

I can only imagine and I'm so sorry. We've had words hurtfully thrown at us, even by our extended families and it is so unnecessary.

Sometimes I think people fear and judge the unknown. What they don't realize is that He is just waiting, with open arms, for them.

A few days ago, after posting a fairly raw and emotional blog post I received the most hateful comment I've ever gotten in my nearly one year of blogging.

The Anonymous Blogging Coward basically called me insincere and a Drama Queen.

Like you, I was shocked. Speechless even. I couldn't hit IGNORE, DELETE, REJECT fast enough.

I love what you've written my friend. I say bring it on. The Darkness doesn't like the LIGHT and will flee from it. Something you wrote stirred up the demons and you KNOW they don't like to be bothered.

Take strength in God's love and grace and continue to do exactly what you are doing. You have found favor in the Most High...and I for one am inspired by your beauty and candor.

"This little light of mine I'm gonna let it shine..."

Love to you~~

Rebecca PS: Your comments on my post today made me cry. We are both sooo blessed. So blessed!

I am so sorry this happened to you, Sandra. It has happened to me also, and it feels horrible to be attacked so viciously.
You just continue and speak the truth and by your words and actions you set an example of Christian love.

What is going on out there ... why must people be so mean & ignorant! You handled this well, Sandra.

I am soooo sorry that this has happened to you, Sandra. We are so blessed to have the Lord our God in our lives & hearts.

God bless you Sandra, you are precious, a wonderful gal that I enjoy. Pray for the souls (?) that are so empty.

Hugs, Marydon

OH, Sandra I'm sorry this happened to you. Why do people do this? Why can't they focus their energy in a positive way - instead of this. Slander? Hmmmmm . . .

I'm dealing with some ding-dongs who like to comment with DISGUSTING comments on mine. And of course Blogger doesn't have it's act together - so I am stuck with it. I can just wait and hope I catch their comments before anyone else reads them. UGH!

ON a more positive note, I have you signed up for Dec Doors of Welcome. Yes?

Have a good day! Chin up - you know that you and your family are the better people, and he will have to answer to his Maker one day. I'd like to know what he's going to do then!

Hugs! Karen

Sandra amor, I will be honest with you...I am not one of the most religious people...I wish I was(although, I am working on that, I think my Ita would be proud :) but I was raised to respect everyones beliefs, just like you would want them to respect yours, I hope to one day feel the strength and all the hope and belief that so many of you share...for many reasons, I don't.. not yet..but like I said, I am working on it :) But no matter what...for this man to come on to YOUR blog which is your OWN private forum and write that...to me it says that he must have a very sad life that he has to say and do such ugly things to make himself feel better, I hate what he did to you, because you have such a lovely heart. I hope you continue to enjoy your blog and keep posting so that all of us that visit you can continue to enjoy the beautiful hearted person that are...and know that I and I am sure so many are sending you huge hugs. Besos, Rose

P.s. I thought I was already following your blog, but didn't see my funny face, so I am now :)

Thanx for stopping by! I am so sorry to hear of such hurtfulness! It is so uncalled for and I hate that it seems the world is becoming even more full of hatred every day for others. People do not think abt their actions or their words anymore. I hate that my boys have to grow up in such a place. All I can do is to teach them right from wrong and know in my heart of hearts they will make the world a better place.
