My Fall Garland and The Color of Red! :)

Hello y’all!  (I really say “y’all in real life:D)  My goodness, I don’t think we will have fall weather in my parts of the world.  LOL!  It was already sixty degrees early this morning.

Today I am linking with Susan with Outdoor Wednesday, and Sue with Rednesday.  Please visit these two wonderful blogs.

So yesterday I mentioned that I was going to share my garland I have out in my front porch.   I think sunflowers look right at home with the fall colors, don’t you think?

First, I hung grapevine and then whatever decorations I use for each season.  I change out the decorations for each season.

Marla, can you see the subtle changes? ;)

Here is another view.  I painted the little chair and the pot.   The chair is Posh Red (like the door) from Valspar.  The pot is painted in Spanish Tile by Valspar.

This also got a makeover.  I gave it just one coat because I wanted some of the previous color to show thru.

I love how the yellow of the mums looks with the red!  I can’t wait for these little flowers to really bloom. :)

And that’s about it.  Y’all have a wonderful day, ok? :) Thank you for visiting My Bella Rose.

I love sunflowers all year long, but I do think they look extra special in fall settings. I love your garland and other fall decorations on your porch.

Your garland looks wonderful...you can tell that you worked hard on it. I love the painted pot, too. I bought a yellow mum this year as well as red, they look good together. Yours will be in full bloom soon and so pretty!! Great job!

It looks so pretty. I'm going to be sad when fall leaves this year. It was so hot it killed many flowers to early so I'm counting on fall and mums to cheer up my color emotion. Beautiful. Hugs. Tammy

Wow, your garland is absolutely beautiful! It makes such a gorgeous Fall welcome to your lovely home, too! I love all of your touches of red, too. So inviting! Thanks for sharing and thanks for stopping by and leaving such a kind note about dining room re-do (I'll leave the sideboard alone)! Take care, *Becca*

Sandra! You have been one busy bee. I love how lush your fall garland is, and I agree that sunflowers look perfect in it. I also think it's neat that you can change it out. I do that with a large wreath I have upstairs on the wall of the balcony. It really makes sense to me, and I store the other decorations in garbage bags when not in use.

Thanks so much for coming by to visit. I have missed you and my other blog friens. I'm hoping I will be blogging again regularly soon. I have a doctor's appointment out of state next week. Hence I might be blogging off and on, but after that, I should be back more regularly.

Sending much love your way...

XO,

Sheila :-)
