I Know My Redeemer Lives

praying

(Rebecca @  http://rebecca-gatheryeroses.blogspot.com/ this is for you.  I just listened to the song you shared with us.   I was also listening to some music and this one always touches my heart and soul.) :)

I love this song.  Who taught the sun where to stand in the morning?  As I sit here worshipping the Lord, I thank HIM with all of my heart.  Thank YOU Abba!     Who else can get us through the trials and tribulations we all suffer in this life?  Only HE can get us through it all.  If you are going through a trial at this time in your life, lean on our HEAVENLY FATHER, HE will get you through it.  HE Will.  I was just listening to this song and it brings tears to my eyes.  I decided to add it to my list if you’d like to listen to it.  :)

Who taught the sun where to stand in the morning?
and Who told the ocean you can only come this far?
and Who showed the moon where to hide 'til evening?
Whose words alone can catch a falling star?
Well I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives:
Let all creations testify
Let this, life within me cry
I know my Redeemer lives, yeah.
The very same God that spins things in orbit
runs to the weary, the worn and the weak
And the same gentle hands that hold me when I'm broken
They conquered death to bring me victory
Now I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
Let all creations testify
Let this life within we cry
I know my Redeemer, He lives
To take away my shame
And He lives forever, I'll proclaim
That the payment for my sin
Was the precious life He gave
But now He's alive and
There's an empty grave.
And I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
Let all creations testify
Let this life within me cry
I know my Redeemer,
I know my Redeemer
I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
I know that I know that I know that I know that I know my redeemer lives
Because He lives I can face tomorrow
I Know I know
He lives He lives yeah, yeah I spoke with him this morning
He lives He lives, the tomb is empty,
He lives I gotta tell everybody

Have a wonderful and blessed day.

Sandra

Oh Sandra...

This is ANOTHER one of my all time favorite songs. Thank you so much for sharing it with blogland today...and me!

The Christian music of today sometimes leaves me wanting. So many songs seem to be 24/7...the same seven words sung 24 times~ I'm not complaining~I just hunger in my spirit for MORE...

I love it when I hear songs that are blessed and annointed by God Himself. May all of us have the courage to share our deep love for Jesus on our Blogs.

Thank you friend. Thank you. My Reedemer LIVES...

Love, Rebecca

Sandra, this is SOOOOOO beautiful. I love that song, and I love this particular rendition. Thank you for this. I needed it today.

And by the way Happy Epiphany to you. I've been meditating on the scriptures and am just blown away at how Jesus is the fulfillment of the prophecies! I don't care how many times I read them, I always stand in awe of God and His promises.

Onward to Easter, my favorite holiday because the Lord liveth! Glory! Hallelujah!

XO,

Sheila :-)
