Spring Cloche

Finally, I found some cloches. :)

IMG_5957

The cloche in the middle is nice and big.  I found all three at Hobby Lobby. I am so happy that they are finally going to carry cloches.

I made a spring arrangement and place a little bird right in the middle.   For the bottom, I used a white plate, a bowl to place the flowers, and a champagne glass to perch my little bird.

I think it looks wonderfully cheerful.:)

As for the other two cloches, I’m still looking to see what I can place in them.  They are small!

I’m getting ready to paint my kitchen walls in Svelte Sage by S.W.  My hubby told me that this is *my* project so it looks like I will be painting it by myself (unless I look at him with puppy eyes)  ha ha!

Sandra, of course you know that I absolutely LOVE your cloches. How creative to use a champagne glass to elevate the little bird. I will definitely have to remember that. The little ones are so sweet and precious too. I think maybe we almost need to have another cloche party. Your mantel looks fabulous too. Thanks so much for joining the party. Hugs, Marty

What a pretty Spring vignette. You will be doing something one day , see something and think "that would look so pretty under glass". :)

Sandra, that cloche is awesome!! How did you photograph with no glare? I'm so jealous. I can barely take a decent cloche photo. Maybe it's my glass.

I'm so glad you will be linking up to Woo Hoo! Wednesday tomorrow. I'll be up and running about 4:00 Texas time (I always know that time because of Mom)so I'll see you then.
Hugs, Marla

We don't have Hobby Lobby's in California. I am searching for a nice big cloche that won't break the bank. Your's look so pretty all ready for spring.

Wow, these are beautiful cloches Sandra! You have decorated them beautifully. I wish I could find some more but they don't seem to be readily available her in Australia...YET! I will keep looking!

Best wishes,
Natasha.

Sandra, thank you so much for linking to Woo Hoo! Wednesday. I hope you didn't have any problems because I sure did with the linky. Oh was I frustrated and accidentally deleted all the links from last week. Agghhhh!! I know this is a learning curve but I hate it when I mess up that bad. :(

I love the way you designed your cloche. That bird is adorable. Good luck with the painting - if you are going for puppy eyes, try Basset Hound eyes - they work great :) Kathy
