Oh The Sound of Rain!

I’m enjoying the sound of rain.  I was going to work in my yard this evening cause I had bought some pretties to plant but mother nature had her own plans.  So here I sit enjoying the rain.  Don’t you just love the sound of the raindrops?  Since I can’t share pictures of my pretties planted, I will show you what I bought. :)

These are Pentas.  They love the sun!IMG_3353

These grow pretty big.  IMG_3347

And these are Lantanas.  I went to a sale that had these for 1.88 so I bought 6!  IMG_3341 IMG_3348

I love this close up!IMG_3344

These will all grow big and beautiful!  Here is a link with info about Lantanas.  I’m hoping to plant them in the morning.

I hope everyone has a lovely Thursday evening!

I too love the sound of the rain. Don't hear it much here, but it is a treat when we do...as long as it isn't a monsoon!

We pray for rain in Oklahoma! After the showers everything is sooooo green and lovely. It reminds me of my homeland (California)...

Hi Sandra,
Beautiful flowers, I have never tried growing these types before. I love shopping for my summer flowers at nurseries it is my “annual ritual”! We have had a rainy couple of months, but hopefully it is going to be a sunny weekend. Cathy

There is a soothing & joy to falling gentle rains ... we sit on the porch to enjoy the fresh smell of the rain. Your plants are gorgeous. TTFN ~ Marydon

Oh Sandra....you would love Oregon with all our rain. I was up in middle of the night drying window seals because I woke up to the rain pouring in the windows. I do love both summer and winter rains. Your flowers are beautiful and don't you love planting and watching them flourish.

such pretty flowere! I love the rain also. It rained very early this morning, and I just laid in bed letting the sound of thunder and rain lull me back to sleep.
