Today’s Thrifty Treasures… My Table & Other Tidbits.

SouthernHospThriftyTreasurescopy

Welcome to Today’s Thrifty Treasures.   Be sure to visit Rhoda at Southern Hospitality for more Today's Thrifty Treasures participants.

I went to a church rummage this weekend and they had so much to sell!   Cast your eyes on this beautiful table I found!  OMgosh, I really like it!

IMG_3715 Please excuse my ugly floor.  We bought this house eight years ago and have done alot of updating to it but the floor in the kitchen has not been touched. lol  eek!  Aaah, someday.

See how ornate it is?  I’m going to sand it, primer it, and then paint it cottage white by Behr.  Love that color.  Or who knows, maybe another shade of white.  Not too sure yet.  IMG_3722

Next is this corner cabinet.  It is painted white already so I don’t have to mess with it.  I might shabby it up a bit on the edges.  lol  I also found it at the church rummage. IMG_3713

And finally, this basket.  I found this at Hobby Lobby for 3.99.  I had to have it.  I can picture it in the garden with a pot of flowers. :)  IMG_3711

Make sure to visit Rhoda at Southern Hospitality. :)  Have a good day!

Hi Sandra. I come by way of Manuela's blog. I've been visiting Manuela for quite a while now. How neat the table and cabinet you got. I wish I could be so lucky as to find such great things. I don't go to thrift stores, but I like yard sales, etc. We grow a lot of roses, especially David Austin. Your blog is very nice and I shall return to visit. Have a great week.

All three are just gorgeous. The end table will be beautiful painted white, and the corner cabinet is such a find. The little basket will be beautiful inside or out. You did very well, they are all wonderful. Hugs, Marty

Oh Sandra, When you get done with that table, it will be a beauty! Yes, I think sanding down some of the edges and corners to make that corner cupboard will make itlook much better. Where will you put it? Wow- we don't have church rummage sales like that in OH. We used to in NM but that was many moons ago... LOL

Thanks for stopping by my MM post. I appreciate your kind comments. You asked where to find cloches. There are a lot at TJMaxx, Ross, Homegoods and on the Internet. Also check out Ebay. They really are quite easy to find in all price ranges. Good luck, I hope you find one, but remember that apothecary jars are also eligible for the party. Hope to see you there. Hugs, Marty

Hi Sandra,
Oh I adore all your pretty tables! You found some gorgeous pieces for sure. The white basket is adorable as well.

You had asked me about the frames with the bows. They are made by Kristen at "Kristens Creations". She has a blog and an Etsy shop. She's on my blogroll if you haven't met her yet under "kristens".
Pay her a visit.
She does beautiful work.

Your blog is looking so pretty!
Have a blessed night my friend.
