Use Pinecones to Decorate Your Tree

Edited to add: Is anyone else having trouble publishing the comments left on your blog? I do comment moderation and when I try to publish them, they are not being added. I apologize if your comments are not showing....especially on my giveaway post. Please try adding your name again.

Hi everyone. I was decorating my tree and thought I’d share another item I include to decorate my tree. Pinecones! These were free. I am lucky because my mother in law has pine trees and they produce the prettiest pinecones I’ve ever seen. She gave me quite a few and I decided to spray paint them gold.

I bet you can find some pinecones at parks even.

Skipper is inspecting the pinecones to make sure they are painted correctly. :)IMG_4942

Add them in an area that is empty on your tree. :)IMG_4953

Can you see me ? *blush*IMG_5027

I’ll be posting pictures of my whole tree tomorrow! :)

Don’t forget to sign up for my giveaway. Thank you for following my humble blog. :)

Blessings,

Sandra

I love the idea of painting the pine cones gold; very pretty. Do you attach them to your tree somehow or just set them in the branches?
