Happy birthday to my sweet husband. :)  Today is my hubby’s birthday but instead of me taking care of him, it’s him taking care of me.  I have come down with a nasty cold, I guess.    He’s such a good husband.  He even volunteered to make some chicken soup for me.  He said it would be easy to make.  Just open a can of Campbell’s and pour it into a pan to heat up.  That’s it.

As of last night, Nyquil and I have become good friends.   I was talking on the phone with my oldest son and I happened to mention to him that I felt a little bit achy as if I was going to get sick.  I dismissed it and just went to bed.  Oh boy! I woke up at 2:00 in the morning and checked my temperature cause I was feeling horrible.  I had 101.5 temp.  I knew I was coming down with something!   I immediately reached for Nyquil and went back to sleep.  Dh didn’t want to toast to it so it was just me toasting to myself.  hee hee

Hoping I feel better quickly because I really feel horrible.  Mothers are are not supposed to get sick, you know.  ugh  I hope it’s not the flu.  I did get a flu shot in the fall so crossing my fingers it’s not the flu.

Send me some “get healthy” vibes please.  Have a good weekend, my friends.

Sandra amor, so sorry you aren't feeling well :( But I promise I didn't give it to you :) I know it feels crappy, the only thing that seemed to help me was the Tylennol severe cold and flu, it helped with the body aches and the fever, I used Advil, seemed to work better than the tylennol on the fever and headaches...But seriously I hope you feel better, stay in bed and get some rest...with me even seeing the computer screen made me naseaus...so I am hoping you don't get that :( Besos, Rose

ps..and I am sending you get better vibes...all that I have to give :)

Be Well Sandra ~ It sounds like your DH is taking good care of you. I was sick in the fall of last year and it lasted about 5 weeks, I hope your sick time is much shorter.

Have a lovely day resting and getting better.

G'morn Sandra ~ Love you header & page. Very pretty

Sorry you are 'under the blankets'. ZINC, take ZINC when you feel a cold coming on ... it works for DH all the time. Get well quickly.

Happy Valentine's ~
Have a beautiful week.

I hope you get to feeling better soon. But you stay in bed for awhile and just rest. Your husband's soup is the exact same recipe as my husband's. lol. Rosie

Oh honey. I'm so sorry you are so sick! That's a miserable number for a fever. I hope your flu doesn't last as long as what's been going around here.

Nyquil is the best for getting some rest. Poor baby. If I lived near you I'd bring you 7up and magazines. Hugs.

Poor poor Sandra! I'm so sorry you're sick! I know you hate it, but you must take care of yourself. Nice you have a sweet hubby to take care of you. I'm sending you a virtual bowl of 'homemade' chicken soup. :)
Hopefully your fever will go away and then you should feel a little better.
Take care,
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
