Roses Galore!

Hello and welcome to my blog.  I am joining Tootsie for Fertilizer Friday.  Y’all make sure and visit her link.  There are many participants joining in this fun weekly meme.  Copy_of_001

I have not been able to post a lot this week.  I’ve been busy tending to my babies outside….  lol what you call garden. :)  I’d like to share some of my roses.  The fragrance of roses is taking over at my house.  I love it.  As you walk by them, you get a whiff of the scent.  There is nothing like it. :)

I took many many pictures this morning.

A close-up of a pink rose.  :) What a beautiful color.  The beauty of a rose is really stunning, isn’t it? :)  Aaah, I love roses.

Aaaa, look at this one.  I do believe it is called “Peace” rose.IMG_6040

And this one is called “Double Delight” I believe.  I’m going to have to start taking notes of what my roses are called as I plant them.  When I planted these, I didn’t know anything about blogging.  I didn’t know there was such a thing. lol  I apologize for that.

I hope  you enjoyed my photos of my roses.  These are from my front.  Next week, I’ll share some of the ones I have out back.  :)  I do hope you are enjoying some warm weather.  Take time to go outside and enjoy the scenery.  Enjoy what God has given us.

Blessings,

Sandra

Your roses are stunning and so healthy. I actually went back to look at your profile to see if you live in California. It seems like so many of the beautiful roses I see on the blogs come from California gardens. I love them.

Wow! Sandra your roses are gorgeous!! Your photos of them are excellent. I don't know which one I like best... but I could almost smell them. I can't seem to grow roses here where I live. They don't like the rocky soil I have.. so I tend to grow them in larger pots. Although at present my roses are kind of limited. You have inspired me again. Have a great Mother's Day! Hugs!

Sandra, your roses are absolutely stunning!!! I love them. It's so nice to "feel" warm because we are still chilly here and not a rose in sight.

wow those are gorgeous blooms - its incredible how my roses just now look like sticks with a tiny bit of new growth compared to yours.

I see you quote CS Lewis - I wrote about my tour of CS lewis birthplace etc in 2 posts on my blog which I think you might be interested in.Type in cs lewis on the search on my blog and you will see the Real Life Narnia Trail posts showing the real stone table! :) Rosie

What beautiful roses...there is nothing like them in the garden. You have such a nice variety and I'm with you, it's so hard to keep up with the names. I have taken to naming them after the people they remind me of.lol

Your roses are so pretty. I have a neighbor who struggles with her roses each year and I think she'd be green with envy if she saw your lush plants. Me? I have a black thumb when it comes to roses, so I always envy you people who can make those babies bloom.

Wow, your roses look terrific! We had an unusually severe winter and most of my roses died. They were 10+ years old, so I am going to replant more roses and hope for warmer winters.
